Refreshing one-day events with Meditation, 'Mindfulness in Motion' and therapeutic clay-play.
Come and join us on a creative path to healing and wellbeing.
Bringing awareness into the present moment, through Meditation and Mindfulness Practice, including Mindful dancing, led by Geeta Pendaer, a trained practitioner in Dancing Mindfulness, Reiki Master, NLP Coach and Founder of 2Justbe.
Your journey then invites you to bring out your inner artist, by creating your own beautiful angel, led by Lucinda Brown Founder of My Angel Workshops.
This unique experience takes place at Lucinda Brown Studio, within the beautiful grounds of historic Claydon House (NT), famous for being the summer residence of Florence Nightingale.
During this retreat, we will use the day to harmonise with our surroundings and connect with our creative centre.
We begin at 8:00 am and conclude at 6:30 pm.
Lucinda Brown Ceramic Artist
With over twenty years worth of practical experience in the production of fine art ceramics, helping others to express themselves in clay feels like the best way to give back to the universe.
My work has found its way into collections and galleries both nationally and internationally and I am continually adding to the collection on display in Lucinda Brown Gallery, with unique pieces lovingly made.
I have lived over the studio since 2001. This being my home, the unique flavour of the space is warm and welcoming.
Visitors are drawn through the beautiful courtyard garden and invited to sit and enjoy this tranquil setting.
The Mindful Angel Re-Treats are designed to make the most of the abundance of nature here.
The Mindful part is hosted by Geeta Pendaer, my partner for this project.
Enjoy breathing the fresh air, move with the music provided by headsets or sit with a journal.
Art materials are on offer to express emotions that cannot be put into words or shared.
The garden seating area is designated for the day to interact with others if needed.
The Clay workshop is the part I look after.
The base of the angels is made the day before using my unique moulds. The face is already done, leaving you to experience the joy of creating something without needing to know anything about the technical details.
Once completed they will be left with me to fire and glaze, a process which takes up to three weeks to complete.
When finished you will be contacted regarding collection or shipping if required.
Regrettably, shipping is not included in the price but should cost no more than £25 if it's the inland UK.
Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat if you have one.
Geeta and I look forward to welcoming you for this unique experience.
